As the staff of the Left Bank Café prepares to reopen for the summer 2020 season we acknowledge the short term New Normal.

Anne Sterling, manager of the LBC since the bistro opened in 2010, is the designated “Covid-19 Workplace Coordinator” through the Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce. 
She also keeps up to date with international, national, state, regional reports. 
Anne and fellow business owners in the town of Saranac Lake hometown will be guided and regulated through the safety restrictions and requirements by the NY Department of Health as we carefully move forward.

Health screening of all employees will take place before any cook or server begins work.
Strict cleaning procedures will be in place at all times.
All employees will wear masks and gloves as required.

The LBC Patisserie and Take Out (next door) will be open June 29 with prepared meals and pastries (schedule TBA).

If the data-driven reopening of restaurants (NY Phase 3) is successful we will ease into the new routine at the bistro in mid June with two weeks of reservation-only suppers (FUN themes like St Patrick’s Day).

The schedule for the summer season will expand to 11am-9pm with lunch,
Happy Hour (featuring light and refreshing French Aperitifs) and dinner service at 5pm.
Al Fresco seating will be by reservation only. Our dining room will be redesigned to ensure social distancing so during this transitional period, reservations are suggested to be assured seating.
